Many of my recent initial business consultations have been very SERIOUS. I guess I need not assume that my clients / potential clients have seen my work or my resume for that matter. My next consultation I’m just going to bring in my laptop, not say a word, and plug it into a projector and let my portfolio flip through a slide show. At the end I’ll just stand up, slap a few business cards on the table, take the last gulp of my coffee and walk out.

How’s that for serious?
